Obituary for Lula V. Early

Early, Lula V., 80, of Paden City, WV died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family.



Lula was born April 3, 1931 in Tyler County, WV daughter of the late David and Rena Bell Jacobs Rice.



She loved being a homemaker to her family, enjoyed raising children and was a member of the Paden City Church of the Nazarene.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milbert W. Early; daughters, Linda Stearnes and Diane Early; brothers, Jerry, Ernest, Clyde, Burl and Earl Rice and sisters, Maggie Mercer, Laurie Bell, Mary Tuttle and Opal Cox.



Surviving is her daughter Doris (Tom) Trader of Paden City, WV, grandchildren, Karen Stearnes of Paden City, WV, John Stearnes of Sistersville, WV, Wendy (Eric) Westbrook of Middlebourne, WV, Thomas (Miranda) Trader and Matthew Trader both of Paden City, WV; great grandchildren, Courtny and Aaron Trader and Mallory, Camryn and Lillianna Westbrook.



Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes in Paden City, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2011 with Pastor Joe Hise officiating.



Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens in New Martinsville, WV.
