Earley, Dorothy, 87, of Paden City, WV died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at her home.

Dorothy was born June 5, 1923 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late William and Florence Headley Wright.

She was a retired dietarian for Wetzel County Hospital, former employee of Paden City Pottery and Marty's Restaurant, and was baptized at the Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hugh Curtis Glendenning; second husband, Melbert E. Earley; two sons, Dale and George Glendenning; four brothers, Clarence, Marvin, Guy and infant, Ralph Wright; ten sisters, Mae Peoples, Nettie Roberts, Cora Heinzman, Stella Shuman, Mary Brown, Veda Schoonover, Ada Wright, Blanche Billiter, Alice Peroni and Marie Starkey.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard "Dick" (Gladys) Wright and Glen "Bob" (Wilma) Glendenning both of Paden City, WV; three daughters, Mary Shepherd of Bethesda, OH, Eva (Donald) Stackpole of Paden City, WV and Dreva (Jim) Early of Sardis, OH; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends received Noon to 4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes in Paden City, where services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2011.

Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens in New Martinsville, WV.
