Young, Wilma Jean, 81, of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her home.



Wilma Jean was born June 27, 1929 in New Martinsville, WV the daughter of the late Everett M. and Louise Fink Ruble.



She was a homemaker, loved to sew and quilt and member of the Church of the Nazarene in New Martinsville.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.



Surviving are her husband of fifty-three years, Burton Young; four sons, Gary Wayne of New Martinsville, WV, Burton Junior (Cindy) of Sardis, OH, Charles M. (Mary) Young of New Martinsville, WV, Ronnie (Lisa) Young of Paden City, WV; two daughters, Mary Jo (George) Miller of Sistersville, WV and Shirley (Larry) Tennant of New Martinsville, WV; eighteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.



Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes, 1224 S. Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 with Mike Shank officiating.



Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City, WV.
