Marjorie Louise  Pixler
Pixler, Marjorie L., 74, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Wetzel County Hospital.

Marjorie was born March 24, 1939 in Alexander, WV daughter of the late Brooks and Opal Simmons Leachman.

She was retired from Wal-Mart Vision Center in New Martinsville, loved bowling and playing BINGO, member of the Women of the Moose in New Martinsville, loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and member of New Martinsville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kessler Leachman; two sisters, Helen Blosser and Charlotte Mothersbaugh and dear friend, Mildred Grimes.

Surviving are son, Harry Wayne Pixler of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Linda (Charlie) Duke of Paden City, WV; brother, Royal B. Leachman of Elkins, WV; sister, Sharon (John) Evans of Ravenswood, WV; five grandchildren, Sarah (Casey) Lamm, Stefanie (Jason) Suter, Suzanne (Justin) Nichols, Racquel Pixler and Alexis Pixler; five great grandchildren, Adri Lamm, Evan Lamm, Madeline Nichols, Kathryn Suter and Anthony Joseph Pixler and several ni eces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 4-8 Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where service will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014 with Pastor Melissa Shortridge officiating.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Marjorie’s name, to New Martinsville United Methodist Church, 10 Howard Jeffers Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
