Obituary for Janet Dulaney

Dulaney, Janet Sue, 74, of Paden City, WV died Friday, February 28, 2014 at Genesis New Martinsville while surrounded by her family.

Janet was born June 5, 1939 in Pine Grove, WV daughter of the late William “Abe” and Wanda Brown Burgess.

She was a former telephone operator for C&P Telephone, former dispatcher for the Paden City Police Dept, loved music, camping and fishing and was a member of Paden City Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Dulaney (2013) and daughter, Amy Marie Dulaney Mead.

Surviving are two brothers, Ronald (Joanne) Burgess of New Martinsville, WV and Bill (Raye) Burgess of Reader, WV, several nieces and nephews and a special little dog, Angel.

At Janet’s request private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Public graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
