Obituary for William Allen ""Bill"" Pugh

Pugh, William “Bill” A., 63, of New Martinsville, WV went to be with his Lord Thursday, March 13, 2014 while surrounded by his family.

“Bill” was born October 22, 1950 in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Charles and Wilda Fletcher Pugh.

He was tracker for Consol Energy, he gave forty-five years of his life as a volunteer fireman with the New Martinsville Fire Dept. and thirty years with New Martinsville Ambulance Service and a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

Surviving are his wife of forty years, Karen Jones Pugh; son, Tim Pugh and daughter, Jennifer Pugh both of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Richard (Aletha) Pugh of Sneads Ferry, NC; grandson, Owen William; nieces, Kami and Gina; several cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ with Rev. Dr. Victor Hunter officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made, in Bill’s name, to New Martinsville Fire Dept., 400 Ohio St., New Martinsville, WV 26155 or Wetzel County Ambulance Service, PO Box 515, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
