Condolence: Our sympathy to Larry & Donna and all of the family of Oliver Tackett. We are saddened this morning to read the notice of death of one of our special Paden City friends. We know how he loved his family and how pleased he was to have Larry & Denise settle nearby so he was able to share more time with his children. George shared with him often after the death of his beloved Edith during some of his frequent visits to Paden Memorial Gardens. He was a "supporter" we admired for his service to country, community, family, and others. George recalls good times helping Oliver with the Lion's Club penny pitch. We pray that, even in the midst of your pain of loss, that you in the family can find peace and also recall and treasure the good times with him.

Condolence: To all of Oliver's family - We both met Oliver in the late 70's working on the building of Pleasants Power Station. Brad, the young Pipefitter Apprentice, learning all he could from Oliver and Blake Holmes. I worked in Payroll and enjoyed Oliver's quick wit and stories. My dad, Chuck Powell, Boilermaker Superintendent, and Oliver were good friends in the construction trades. Years later our daughter played basketball and there was Oliver selling us a ticket or popcorn at events. Again with a story and a smile. We both admired this man who always seemed so young at heart. We are very sorry for your loss of this special man who touched both of our lives.
