Obituary for Carl Dempsey O'Neil

O’Neil, Carl Dempsey, 65, of Paden City, WV died Thursday, February 19, 2015 while at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV.

Carl was born December 23, 1949 in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Stanley and Rosie (Hall) O’Neil.

He was a retired labor with Corning Glass Company and member of the Eagles in Paden City, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thyresia Mikes O’Neil; two brothers, Albert and John O’Neil and two sisters, Mary Leek and Bonnie Leek.

Surviving are two daughters, Angie Shanabarger of Weirton, WV and Amanda (Ricky) Criss of Paden City; three brothers, Donald (Melissa) O’Neil, Tom O’Neil and Richard (Vickie) O’Neil all of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Betty Shanabarger of New Martinsville, WV and Barbara (Donnie) Garton of Jane Lew, WV; two brother-in-laws, Melvin Leek and Ronald Leek both of Galmish, WV; special friend, Sandy Clark of New Martinsville, WV; three grandchildren; special uncle, Dempsey Wilson of New Martinsville, WV; special dog, Lucky and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV where service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2015 with Kenny Keifer officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Sistersville, WV.
