Obituary for Gary Denton "Grub" Roll

Roll, Gary “Grub” D., 53, of Paden City, WV died suddenly Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV.

“Grub” was born December 11, 1961 in Wadsworth, OH son of Sarah Neff of Paden City, WV.

He was a meat cutter for Save-a-Lot in New Martinsville, an avid hunter, enjoyed the camp he built, like riding four-wheelers and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his step-fathers, Elmer Winter and Robert Neff; maternal grandparents, Earl and Ruth Lemasters; paternal grandparents, Harry and Betty Schiffbauer and uncle, Delbert J. Doty.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers, Stephen R. Roll, III of Paden City, WV and Daniel (Angela) Roll of Princeton, NC; sister, Janice (Charlie) Myers of New Martinsville, WV; best friends, Chuck and Martha Gump and Lincoln Gump; canine companion, Nick and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City where service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015.

Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
