Obituary for Judson Randall "Randy" Richards

Judson “Randy” R. Richards, 70, of Norwalk CT formerly of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Camden Cark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.

“Randy” was born September 17, 1945 in New Martinsville son of the late Judson Fredrick and Lillian (Busch) Richards.

He was a retired pipe fitter and welder at PPG, a U.S. Navy Veteran, member of New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931, New Martinsville American Legion Marne Post #28, retired to Venice, FL where he was able to golf for many years and a Catholic by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra “Susie” Sue (Nice) Richards.

Surviving are his wife of fifteen years, Mary Louise Chillington; son, Brian (Katrina) Richards of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Stacey (Jim) Helmick of New Martinsville, WV; three grandchildren Kale Street, Shana Street and Chase Street and some great grandchildren.

The family wishes to acknowledge the very special care he received by Viola Judge and her family at the Judge Personal Care Facility in Middlebourne, WV during the last years of his illness.

Private funeral Mass to be held at a later date at St. Vincent de Paul’s Catholic Church in New Martinsville, WV.

Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes.
