Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Campbell, 75, of New Martinsville, WV went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, January 14, 2016 while at Wheeling Hospital.

“Liz” was born March 13, 1940 on Ten Mile Ridge in Tyler County, daughter of the late Peter and Daisy (Mercer) Thomas.

She was a homemaker, loved gardening, canning, collecting glassware and a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, “Liz” was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Campbell (2007); son, Tony Campbell (2004); brothers, Peter and Junior Thomas and sister, Vera Midcap.

Surviving are four sons, Gary E. Campbell, Doug T. Campbell and Brian S. and Tracey Campbell all of New Martinsville, WV and John J. Campbell of Vienna, VA; daughter, Denise A. Barr of Beckley, WV; two sisters, Marion V. Thomas of New Martinsville, WV and Betty J. Eddy of Kingwood, WV; three sister-in-law’s, Josephine Campbell of Cleveland, OH, Saundra Thomas of Amsterdam, OH and Audrie Ann Ryan of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016, Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Bridge Street Church of Christ with Paolo DiLuca officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
