Helen Marie Canfield, 77, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her home.

Helen was born October 16, 1938 in Wyatt, WV, daughter of the late Donald and Ida (Hanning) Willis.

She was a homemaker, a licensed beautician, helped with PTA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, member of the New Martinsville Rebecca Lodge #157 and a Methodist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Frank, Leroy, Oscar, Ray, Jesse and Donnie Willis and a sister, Faye McGinnis.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-nine years, Denver Canfield; two sons, Bruce Canfield of New Martinsville, WV and Jay Canfield of Bridgeport, OH; two daughters, Cheryl (Roger) Hartline of Sardis, OH and Lisa (Mark) Richmond of Paden City, WV; two brothers, Jimmy (Barbara) Willis of Albany, OH and David (Linda) Willis of Alpena, MI; sister, Bonnie Raad of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
