Obituary for Donald E. Billiter

Donald “Don” E. Billiter, 83, of Paden City, WV died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Heartland of Marietta.

“Don” was born May 3, 1932 in Paden City, WV, son of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Hayes) Billiter.

He was a retired welder for the former Ormet Corp, a U.S. Army veteran, member of Wetzel Masonic Lodge No. 39 A.F. & A.M., Osiris Shrine Temple and member of Paden Fork Chapel in Paden City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Long and two brothers, Wayne Billiter and infant, Bobby Billiter.

Surviving are three sons, Donald (Tami) Billiter, Jr. of Paden City, WV, Timothy Billiter of Missouri and Michael (Lynn) of Alabama; daughter, Jacque (Tim) Moore of Missouri; two brothers, Lloyd (Florence) Billiter of Texas and John (Paula) Billiter of Paden City, WV; two sisters, Esther (Emil) Hissam of Florida and Joyce (Gary) Eddy of Clarksburg, WV and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 with Dale Dudgeon officiating.

Interment to follow in Kendall Cemetery in Paden City, WV.

Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Wetzel Lodge No. 39 A.F. & A.M.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Don’s name, to Shriner’s Children Hospital, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
