Obituary for Luther Maynard
Luther Maynard, 64, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, July 11, 2016 while at Genesis Sistersville.
Luther was born July 23, 1951 in Welch, WV, son of the late Earl and June (Mounts) Maynard.
He was a former coal miner, loved to drive fast cars, certified in first aid and CPR and member of the Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Grace Riggs and niece, Sherri Makofsky.
Surviving are his daughter, Chris Adams of Wheeling, WV; sister, Rachel Makofsky of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Morgan, Chase and Stephanie; four great grandchildren, Gavyn, Gracie, Erica and K.K.; three nieces, Kim Brown, Carmetta Principe and Misty Pagett; two nephews, Gerald Moore and James Makofsky; two special friends, Mary White and Anna Drass and many other friends.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Luther’s name, to charity of donors’ choice.
