Shirley Sweeney, 80, of Paden City, WV died peacefully Sunday, July 17, 2016 while at the Ritchie Personal Care Home in Sistersville, WV.

Shirley was born November 20, 1935 in Alvy, WV, daughter of the late Carl and Fanny (Lemasters) Sweeney.

She was a retired controller for Hilton Operations and Walt Disney and a Protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl, Eosson, Frank and Clarence and sister, Betty.

Surviving are two sisters, Dorma (Larry) Baker of Middlebourne, WV and Shelba Marshall of Rawley, NC and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Shirley’s request there will be no services, just burial at the convenience of the family in the Beechwood Cemetery in Tyler City, WV.
