Obituary for Frederick Lee "Fred" Uselton

Frederick “Fred” Lee Uselton, 50, of New Matamoras, OH was killed at his residence Sunday, August 28, 2016.

Fred was born November 11, 1965 in New Martinsville, WV, son of Emmett F. Uselton of Michigan and Janet (Hoskins) Uselton of New Martinsville, WV.

He was an executive chef that loved to cook. Restaurants that he has cooked for are The Candlelight, Charlies’ and Becky Thatcher.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Lindner and Nancy Fellers and brother, Don Maine.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two sons, Rick (Sarah) Uselton of New Matamoras, OH and Robert Uselton who is currently stationed in Fort Campbell,KY; daughter, Amanda Schubert of TX; three sisters, Deborah Wiley of New Martinsville, WV, Karen Ovall of Toledo, OH and Linda Wilbur of Eaton Rapids, MI; three brothers, Elom Maine of New Matamoras, OH, Milton Uselton of Mogador, OH and Jack Leroy Uselton of Freemont, OH, three grandchildren, Brayden and Mason Uselton and Brynleigh Schubert and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2016.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
