Condolence: I loved Aunt Rose. She opened her home to my family on several occasions, and was such a role model of love, grace and kindness. She made a birthday cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday (Kate is now 30) in the shape of West Virginia, and we ate it out front while the boys played in the barn. They still talk about how fun that visit was (other than the "animal heads" staring at them from the bedroom wall at night, ha!). I know she missed Uncle Harold and Tom, but don't you think all the family members who have gone before her are having a wonderful reunion right now? To my cousins, I'm so sorry for your loss. I love you all.

Condolence: Aunt Rose was a ray of sunshine. Aunt Rose was always upbeat and positive. Her smile made everyone else smile. She will truly be missed, but is now with Uncle Harold. Such a wonderful example to others

Condolence: Aunt Rose had the gift of making everyone feel special. When she talked with you it was as if you were the only person on the planet. Always smiling, young and vibrant . . . that's how we will remember her.

We will miss her but will never forget kind, gentle Aunt Rose.

Condolence: No words, other than Aunt Rose was the measure of grace incarnate. My heart hurts, and I want her back. But alas, she, Uncle Harold, and my Papa Clem are now together and she can call Clem out for cheating at euchre. My love to all of you, my loving cousins. My home in Florida is open to any of you at any time.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. Rose was a gentle and kind woman. She always had a smile everytime I saw her and made me feel welcome to West Virginia after moving here from Michigan. I will always think of her as a true lady and an example to follow. She will be greatly missed.
