Obituary for Esther Pauline "Polly" Beeghley
Esther Pauline “Polly” Beeghley, 93, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Lightburn, WV went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 while at Rada’s Place.
Polly was born May 8, 1923 in Lightburn, Lewis County, WV, daughter of the late James Hobart and Rose (Funk) Beeghley.
She was a retired office manager, with forty-six years of service, for J.C. Penny’s., loved gardening, her love for playing the piano and organ allowed her to play for over seventy years at Broad Run Baptist Church where she kept her membership.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant sister, Ruth Elaine Beeghley, brother-in-law, Ben Price and niece, Donna Jean Price.
Surviving are her sister, Lucille Price and nephew, Jim (Fawn) Price both of New Martinsville, WV; three great nephews, Jamie (Dorothy) Price, Joe (Malissa) Price and Jon (Jo Ellen) Price and several great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Broad Run Baptist Church near Jane Lew, WV with Pastor Bill Coffindaffer officiating.
Interment to follow in the Broad Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Polly’s name, to the Broad Run Baptist Church music fund, 95 County Road 8/2, Jane Lew, WV 26378.
