Obituary for Melissa Antoinette "Toni" Wells (Lallathin)

Melissa “Toni” Antoinette Wells, 54, of Proctor, WV formerly of Paden City, WV died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home.

Toni was born November 24, 1962 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Jake Lallathin and Eva Jane (Carmen) Jones.

She loved working with plants, antiques; playing games on her cell phone. She was a very caring person who loved her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and a member of the Paden City Church of God.

In addition to her parents and step-father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jean Dailey.

Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Wells; son, Christopher Smith of Parkersburg, WV; daughter, Jessica (Shawn) Dalrymple of Marietta, OH; two brothers, William (Roxanne) Lallathin of Paden City, WV and Christopher Jones of Georgia; four grandchildren, Jadelynne, Kyndra, Arianna, Travis and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. At Toni’s request there will be no funeral.

Interment to be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorial contributions be made to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 309 N 4th Ave., Paden City, WV 26159.
