Virginia “Ginny” Lipscomb, 84, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, May 27, 2017 while at Genesis New Martinsville.

Ginny was born January 1, 1933 in New Martinsville, WV, daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Ullon) Lipscomb.

She loved playing BINGO, going to the Senior Center and eating, and talking with people and a member of the New Martinsville Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lovell; two brothers, Howard Myers and James Lipscomb and two sisters, Mary Frances Harton and Patricia Snodgrass.

Surviving are three brothers, Bernard (Ellen) Lipscomb, Jr. of New Martinsville, WV, Robert (Andrea) Wright of Texas and David Lipscomb of Middlebourne, WV; four sisters, Jessie Thompson of New Martinsville, WV, Carol Quinn of Sistersville, WV, Helen (Jim) Agar and Julia Kelbaugh both of New Martinsville, WV; her special doll baby, Melissa and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with Pastor Mick Frye officiating.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
