Obituary for Glen Robert "Bob" Glendenning

Glen “Bob” R. Glendenning, 68, of Sistersville, WV died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Camden-Clark Medical Center.

Bob was born August 6, 1948 in Sistersville, WV; son of the late Hugh Curtis and Dorothy (Wright) Glendenning.

He loved the outdoors, in his younger days he loved to go fishing and hunting, he enjoyed working with leather and attended the Paden City Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Hugh Curtis, Jr., George and Dale and a sisters, Mary L Shepherd.

Surviving are his wife of twenty-five years, Wilma (Hudson) Glendenning; son, R. Scott Glendenning of Alaska; step-son, Randy Vanness of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Deloris Davis of Powhatan Point, OH; two step-daughters, Carol (Terry) Winter of Paden City, WV and Sharon Vanness of Sardis, OH; brother, Richard (Gladys) Wright of Paden City, WV; two sisters, Dreva (Jim) Earley of Sardis, OH and Eva Jean Stackpole of Paden City, WV; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friend received 3-7 p.m., June 9, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, where service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Interment in the Kendall Cemetery near Paden City, WV.
