Obituary for James S. "Jim" Ingram

James S. Ingram, 81, of New Martinsville, WV transitioned into spirit, Sunday, July 02, 2017 while at Wheeling Hospital.

Jim was born July 19, 1935 in Plymouth, WV, son of the late John Robert and Crystal (Craigo) Ingram.

He was a retired safety supervisor for Bayer, graduate of WV Institute of Technology Class of 1958, a U.S. Navy veteran, member of American Legion Marne Post 28, New Martinsville Moose Lodge 931, Farmer’s Bureau, Professional Safety Engineer, Oglebay Wood Carvers Guild and New Martinsville United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Wallace Ingram and brother, John Robert Ingram, Sr.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Katy Ingram; son, James Matthew (Katy) Ingram of Hagerstown, MD; sister, Nancy (Charles) Ingram-King of Sistersville, WV; brother, Daniel Martin (Charlotte) Ingram of Huntington, WV; three grandchildren, Whitney Ingram, Bert Ingram and Liam Laird; three great grandchildren, Cole, Trey, and Violet and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at noon on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at New Martinsville United Methodist Church with Pastor Stephen Rector officiating.
