Obituary for Allison "Alli" Bertozzi

Allison “Alli” Paige Bertozzi, 25, of Paden City, WV made her ascend to meet her Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2017 and was welcomed into the kingdom by her her Nonna and Pap. She was born and raised a Catholic by faith.

The beautiful light that was Alli was born March 6, 1992 in New Martinsville, WV, daughter of Rick and Mary (Fagert) Bertozzi.

She was a graduate of Paden City High School Class of 2010 and while there she excelled in athletics as a team member of the Wildcats... Her love for volleyball, led her next to Fairmont State University as a Falcon. Next her love of writing and words led her to West Liberty University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature graduating in 2015. She began her career as a legal proofreader at Williams Lea, Inc. in Wheeling, WV.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Jean “Nonna” Bertozzi and maternal grandparents, Marshall “Pap Pap” and Jean Fagert.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her brother, Rich Bertozzi of Paden City, WV; six aunts, Lee Ann (Larry) Dally, Alexia (Mike) Angolia, Pam (John) Goots, René (Rod) Herrick, Rita (Jim) Cacini and Ginny Buckland and several cousins.

Friends received 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City.

A rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10a.m., Friday, August 18, 2017 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church with Rev. James LaCrosse as celebrant.

Alli lived her life embracing every beautiful moment. She shined a light onto every person she touched and loved with a tenacity that knew no boundaries. She will be laid to rest in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV following the service.
