Barbara Ann Werner, 79, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 while at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

Barbara was born August 9, 1938 in Columbus, OH; daughter of the late Robert M. and Mabel (Creamer) Dolder.

She was a retired Medical Staff Coordinator for Wetzel County Hospital, loved working with ceramics and crocheting, member of FCC Sisters Group and member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mariellen Goode.

Surviving are three sons, Gary Grove, Bill (Melinda) Laverse and Dan Laverse; brother, Robert (Diana) Dolder; sister, Melody (Larry Kohar) Ward; two grandsons, Billy Laverse and Ryan Laverse; friend, Penny Morris and best canine friend, Buddy.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St. in New Martinsville. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ at 521 Maple Ave., New Martinsville where with Sarah Webb officiating. Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
