Obituary for William Arthur "Bill" Baker II

William “Bill” A. Baker, II, 82, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, March 19, 2018 while at Genesis New Martinsville.

Bill was born July 5, 1935 in Middlebourne, WV; son of the late William and Jessie (Owens) Baker.

He was a retired crane operator for the former Ormet Corp, a U.S. Army Reserve, lived to go fishing, hunting, camping and going to flea markets and member of the First Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Linn Baker.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Wilma Baker; two sons, Ronald (“Mindy”) Baker of Liquid Ranch, FL and William “Billy” (Vickie Cunningham) Baker, III of Dansville, WV; daughter, Tania (Todd) Cecil of New Martinsville, WV; brother, James (Kay) Baker of Cabot, AK; eight grandchildren, Stacey, Brandon, Michael, Mandy, BJ, Brittany, Evan and Halley; nine great-grandchildren, Sydney, Chase, Jackie, Harley, Makenna, Michael, Lydia, Ian and Nathan; two great great-grandchildren, Kynlee and Rayli and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Bill’s request private services will be held for the family.

Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
