Obituary for Irene N Glover
Irene N. Glover, 97, of New Martinsville, WV died Tuesday, May 01, 2018 at her home.
Irene was born April 8, 1921 in Shirley, WV; daughter of the late William A. and Myrtle (Lancaster) Wharton.
She was a homemaker; she loved reading, working crossword puzzles and quilting and was a member of the Proctor Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Glover; infant daughter, Marilyn Jean Glover and several brothers and one sister.
Surviving are her children, William (Linda) Glover and Richard (Christie) Glover both of New Martinsville, WV and Roger (Mary Jo) Glover of Pittsburgh, PA; two daughters, Doris (Glen) Barnes of New Martinsville, WV and Sharon (Alan) Snodgrass of Athens, OH; brother, James (Pat) Wharton of Coraopolis, PA; sister, Patty Leasure of Middlebourne, WV and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Irene’s request private graveside services were held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Middlebourne Cemetery in Middlebourne, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Irene’s name, to New Martinsville Public Library, 160 Washington St., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
