Obituary for Lyndia Ann Allen (Smith)

Lyndia Ann Allen, 63, of New Martinsville, WV died suddenly Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Lyndia was born April 12, 1955 in Elyria, OH; daughter of the late Charles and Elva (Wade) Smith.

She was a homemaker who truly loved her family, enjoyed fishing, cooking and helping people and a member of the Hemlock Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, James Allen; two sons, Michael (Carey) Smith of Paden City, WV and James Allen, II of Proctor, WV; brother, Charles (Shirley) Smith of New Martinsville, WV and Donnie Smith of Hannibal, OH; sister, Donna (Larry) Starkey of Friendly, WV; two granddaughters, Brittany and Tabitha Smith; great granddaughter, Merri Taylor and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City.

Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.

The family is asking for help with the funeral cost. Donations may be sent to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 309 N 4th Ave., Paden City, WV 26159.
