Obituary for Judith Marie "Judy" Ferrebee (Holmes)

Judith M. Ferrebee, 71, of Paden City, WV died Thursday, July 19, 2018 while at Wheeling Hospital while surrounded by her family.

Born December 30, 1946; daughter of the late Fred and Margaret “Peg” (Heedy) Holmes. Granddaughter of the late Violet Heedy Rapp, “Billie”.

Judy was an active member of the Paden City American Legion Auxiliary Unit 86, as well as the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6327. She was the co-chair for the Paden City Labor Day festival, past president of the Paden City Alumni Association and had served as a Paden City Councilwoman.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Dawn Ferrebee and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Howard.

Surviving are her husband of fifty years, Leo Ferrebee; two daughters, Gina (David) Dally and Cindy (Brandon) Howard both of Georgia; two sisters, Barbara (Rob) Amos and Tricia (RJ) Feldmeier; grandchildren, David (Ashley) Dally, Stephanie (Vince) Connell and Casey M. Howard; great grandchildren, Kairi and Abigail Dally and Logan Connell.

Friends received 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City.

Interment to follow in the Friendly Cemetery in Friendly, WV.
