Misty Dawn Sands, 46, of New Martinsville, WV passed away at Wheeling Hospital after a brave battle with cancer.

Daughter of G. Darlene Richeson of Wheeling, WV and “Jerry” (Bonnie) Sands of New Martinsville, WV.

Former laborer for Chapman Corp with Laborers Local 1149.

Survived by a son, J.D. Pratt, II of New Martinsville, WV; three brothers, Nicholas Sands of Bethlehem, WV, Shane Richeson and Ronnie Richeson both of Paden City, WV; three sisters, Tracy (Michael) Shieffield of Fisher, TX, Kristen (“Bo”) Litman and Kerry Sands both of New Martinsville, WV and several aunts, uncles, cousins – loved by all.

Friends received 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.

The family has asked for friends to help cover funeral cost by donating memorial contributions, in Misty’s name, to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
