As former Mayor of New Martinsville I got to know Karen through her work with the Wetzel Co. Humane Society and with her work on the Crime Watch Comm. She was always so warm and kind to talk to. She was very organized and I could always depend on her for special projects. My daughter got to know her at the Public Library and would always comment "she's nice". Her presence in my life and our community will always be my memory of her! With appreciation of my friend Karen, Jim Herrick (former Mayor)
