Obituary for Joshua E. "Bud" Yoho Jr.

Yoho, Jr., Joshua "Bud" E., 83, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Wheeling Medical Park.

Bud was born October 19, 1927 in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Joshua E. Yoho, Jr. and Ethel Nolan Sockman.

He was a retired employee of Ormet, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931 and Ormet Retirees Club, loved boating and golf, enjoyed meeting and talking with people and was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Eileen Calvert and Dorothy Barron and a brother, Thomas Yoho.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Betty Mills Yoho; daughter, Sandy (Norman) Hardman of Lumberport, WV; grandson, Thomas "Toby" May, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Richard "Hink" (Minnie) Sockman of Floral City, FL and Vincent Yoho of Baton Rouge, LA and several nieces and nephews.

Friends received 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes, 1224 S. Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV with Rev. Melissa Shortridge officiating.

Interment to be held at the convenience of the family.
