Obituary for Therman E. Nolan

Nolan, Therman E., 66, of Paden City, WV died Friday, April 17, 2009 at his sister’s home in Paden City. Therman was born September 16, 1942 in Paden City, WV the son of the late William Arvil and Opal Evelyn Holmes Nolan. He was an employee of Smittle’s Meat Packing Paden City: a member of the Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church for forty-seven years and loved to fish and hunt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Earl Daniel Nolan and nephew, Ricky Cross. Surviving are a brother, Carl Nolan of Alma, WV; four sisters, Ida Mae Bonner and her husband, Bob of Paden City, WV, Evelyn Cross and her husband, Gene of New Martinsville, WV, Velma Kay Dawson and her husband, Roy of Alma, WV and Mary Jane Bowman and her husband, Bob of Marietta, OH and several nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City, WV where services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2009 with his brother-in-law, Roy Dawson officiating.
