Yeater, Mary Elenora, 90, of Proctor, WV died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mary was born May 9, 1923 in Howard (Marshall County), WV daughter of the late Spencer and Effie Rush Stern.

She was a homemaker, she like working crossword puzzles and playing scrabble, rook and dominoes and was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Proctor, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Yeater; son, Robert Yeater; grandchildren, a set of infant twins, Christopher and Becky Ann Richmond; four brothers, Robert Stern, Donald Stern, Dwight Stern and Glenn Stern and a sister, Buryl Roupe.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna Sue (Harold) Richmond of Proctor, WV; brother, Warren Stern of Warren, OH; sister, Betty Kay (Jeff) Crone of Fredericksburg, VA; daughter-in-law, Margaret Yeater of Moundsville, WV; four grandchildren, Eleanor Kay (Rick) Thomas, Michael (Marsha) Richmond, David (Anastasia) Yeater and Monica Yeater; four great grandchildren, Jessie (Nathaniel) Kelley, Lacy (Josh) Drury, Miklyn Richmond and Brandon Richmond; four great great grandchildren, Jaydyn, Ryleigh, Ryder and Skyler and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 with Lemoyne Horner officiating.

Interment to follow in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Proctor, WV.
