Obituary for Mark Eric Richmond
Richmond, Mark Eric, 50, of Doolin died Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home.
Mark was born July 23, 1963 in New Martinsville, WV.
He was the office manager for Gautschi & Goddard, owned and operated his own sporting goods business known as Richmond’s Sporting Goods; member of Fur, Fin and Feather Club, avid hunter, a proud Republican, liked playing cinch and poker and was a Protestant by faith.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Lucille Richmond; grandfather, John W. Richmond and two sisters, Patty Wood and Florence Richmond.
Surviving are his father, Burl Richmond; beloved partner of twenty-nine years, Kimberley Windland; seven brothers, James “Jamie” Richmond of New Martinsville, WV, Michael D Richmond of Maysville, MO, Duane Richmond of Rosetown, GA, Christopher Richmond of New Martinsville, WV, Harold Richmond of Proctor, WV, John Richmond of New Martinsville, WV, Sherman Donald Richmond of Columbus, OH; four sisters, Sonya DeGuzman of Lusby, MD, Cassandra Richmond of Proctor, WV, Imogene Wood of Wileyville, WV and Laura Goddard of Proctor, WV; mother-in-law, Sarah Winland and several cousins, nieces, nephews and hundreds of friends.
At Mark’s request there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s name to the charity of donor’s choice.
