Oliver, Mary Gean, 82, of New Martinsville, WV died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.

Mary was born March 13, 1932 in Glovers Gap, WV daughter of the late Oran and Catherine Rice Kiger.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gene Roger Oliver and grandson, Brian Michael Oliver.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-four years, Richard “Ken” Oliver of New Martinsville, WV; son, Richard Oliver of Willard, NC and two daughters, Glynna (Larry) Higgins and Jennifer (Bob) Miller both of New Martinsville, WV; six grandchildren, Casey Higgins (Jeff Thorne) Anchorage, AK, Christopher (Angel) Higgins of Paden City, WV, Chase and Jacob Miller both of New Martinsville, WV, Jessica Davis of St. Albans, WV and Jason Cecil of New York, NY and six great grandchildren, Parker, Aiyana and Jessup Higgins all of Paden City, WV and Hayden, Noah, and Avery Thorne of Anchorage, AK.

Friends received 1-3 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where services will be held 3 p.m.

Interment to follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery in Burton, WV.
