Obituary for Carl Leroy Yoho

Carl Leroy Yoho, 75, of Sistersville, WV died Monday, January 11, 2016 at his home while with his family.

Carl was born November 16, 1940 in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Thomas Lester and Lucy Blanch (Travis) Yoho.

He was a retired control operator for Texas Electric Service Co., graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 1958, member of American Legion Marne Post #28 in New Martinsville, loved hunting, farming and trapping, a gunsmith and enjoyed taxidermy work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Thomas, Robert Yoho, C. Wayne Yoho and Thomas “Bud” Yoho and two grandsons, Carl Robert Ford and Robby Ford.

Surviving are his wife with whom he celebrated fifty-three years of marriage on December 29th, Donna (Smith) Yoho; son, Michael (Michelle) Yoho; daughter, D. Michelle Yoho both from Monahans, TX; four sisters, Ruth Elliott of Weirton, WV, Florence (Ken) Loy, Mary Jane (Sherman) Richter and Marjorie (Herman) Richter all of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Lori (Adrian) Porras, Kory (Melissa) Yoho, Thomas Ford and Dawna Ford Heflin; five great grandchildren, Madison, Lucas, Kymber, Sydney and Gavin and several extended family members.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2016 with Pastor Mike Shank officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Sistersville, WV.
