Rosalind “Rose” Riggenbach, 92, of New Martinsville, WV went to meet her Savior, Friday, August 05, 2016 while at Wheeling Hospital.

Rose was born November 5, 1923 in New Martinsville, WV, daughter of the late Basil T. and Alice (Marshall) Kimble.

She was a retired co-founder of Riggenbach Tile and Carpet in New Martinsville, member of Women’s Civic League, bridge club, loved reading and watching FOX News and member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in New Martinsville. Rose was proud of the fact that she was one of the first three Majorettes at Magnolia High School. She was extremely proud when her children graduated from Magnolia each of them would be voted by their class as “Most Friendliest.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Riggenbach and infant daughter, Paula Rose Riggenbach.

Surviving are her son, Don (Jackie) Riggenbach of New Martinsville, WV; two daughters, Vicki (Dick) Reed of St. Mary’s, WV and Kathie (Scott) Richter of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Jean Louise Kocher of Greensboro, NC and Joan Wayman of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren, Cindy (Brian) Funk, Michael (Tina) Reed, Michelle (David) Breeding, Jeff (Carolyn) Richter, Becky (Robert) Stephens and Matthew (Jessica) Riggenbach and thirteen great grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016 the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ with Rev. Dr. Victor Hunter officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
