What an amazing brother in Christ. I am thankful that I met Eric at F.C., who then got John to schedule my first gospel meeting in Friendly. Aaron and I use to joke about me being "the black sheep of the family". You see, John and Jo Ellen adopted me and treated me as though I was one of their sons who are good men; even though they try to get me to go "snipe hunting" (lol). It was John who warned about the "snipe hunting" my brothers were trying play on me. Anyway, he supported me in the preaching of the gospel as a proud father would do at his son's success. I was blessed to have more meetings schedule around the Paden City area and he would try to attend at least one night of those meetings supporting his son in the gospel. The world has lost a good God-fearing man while heaven has gained a son of The King of Kings. I thank God for the life of John who impacted my life. He lived for this time, as an encouragement for us, we too must live for our time when we will stand before our Great God of heaven and earth to hear these powerful, awe inspiring words, "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant, My Son". I am confident, John heard it. Cherish your memories of him as I will my dear Veyon family.
Love you all much.
