Condolence: What a blessing the Veyon Family has been to an untold number of God's people. Judy and I were so blessed to have been neighbors to John and Jo Ellen. Indeed, "Precious memories flood my soul" as I recall the many hours John and I had together "talking scripture," eating at The Court with all the fella's, going to denominational meetings, or studying with members of the liberal churches. John was a great student of the Word, and kept the church informed of coming problems. There was not a topic about he was not informed, he was a "Walking Encyclopedia" of Bible knowledge. To all the family, keep his legacy going strong, remain faithful, study the Word, arm yourselves against the fiery darts of the devil.

Condolence: John was without question a man of God. He was always full of joy and smiling. The love of Christ was present in his words and deeds. His entire family is a testament to his life. His dear wife Jo Ellen, his sons, daughter in - laws, grand children, and great grand children have been a blessing to him as he has seen them also follow the Lord. Rest in the joys of your Lord John. We hope that we can live as you did and see you in the blessed home that Christ has prepared for his faithful.

Condolence: I want say that we love grandpa & great grandpa, the life you lived was an example that NOT many can compare to. Although I didn't get to see you, you were in our hearts. You gave me the best Dad that anyone could ever have! The beauty of having Eric for a father was also having him for my children's PaPa. Eric is always teaching them about God's word and that example came from a father that loved his son (Eric) enough to pave the way so that the children that filled Eric's life might also, one day follow the Gospel and be saved. We are praying for the family and asking God to deliver his peace to each of you, I know he will be greatly missed. Grandma Veyon, I am just a phone call away, We love you and I can't even imagine after 60 yr's of marriage how you must feel?! May God grant you peace and comfort that only he can give and I hope to see you very soon! We will see him again, praise God! Tony, Darlene, Chase Tonni and Taelor

Condolence: Grandpa, you will be missed by so many that loved you beyond words. Even though I didn't get to see you very often at all, because of distance, My gratitude and love for you, was in knowing that you raised a wonderful man that has been the best Dad anyone could ask for,(Eric) His Godly guidance through out my life has always been a reminder of the Christian upbringing he had and that has always been in the forefront of my mind. May God continue to Bless the Veyon family and comfort each and everyone of you through this time of loss. Thanks be to God for the Son of God most of all, that if we live our lives according to Gods word we will all meet again! Christine,Ricky,Rayna,Rylee

Condolence: What an amazing brother in Christ. I am thankful that I met Eric at F.C., who then got John to schedule my first gospel meeting in Friendly. Aaron and I use to joke about me being "the black sheep of the family". You see, John and Jo Ellen adopted me and treated me as though I was one of their sons who are good men; even though they try to get me to go "snipe hunting" (lol). It was John who warned about the "snipe hunting" my brothers were trying play on me. Anyway, he supported me in the preaching of the gospel as a proud father would do at his son's success. I was blessed to have more meetings schedule around the Paden City area and he would try to attend at least one night of those meetings supporting his son in the gospel. The world has lost a good God-fearing man while heaven has gained a son of The King of Kings. I thank God for the life of John who impacted my life. He lived for this time, as an encouragement for us, we too must live for our time when we will stand before our Great God of heaven and earth to hear these powerful, awe inspiring words, "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant, My Son". I am confident, John heard it. Cherish your memories of him as I will my dear Veyon family.
Love you all much.

Condolence: Knowing John has been such a blessing. He has always been such a steadfast person standing on the promises. He has shown love in so many ways, to his family, to his flock, in the work place and to strangers. He has been a true example of a disciple. John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. Please accept our deepest condolences. Mike and Jana Turner
