Estelle Virginia  Hopkins
Estelle Virginia Hopkins of Paden City, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2017 while at Westwood Place in Woodsfield, OH.

She was born in Paden City on July 29, 1928 to John D. and Edna (Brown) Hopkins. She was retired from Olin Aluminum (an Olin girl) and Viking Glass.

Estelle was a graduate of Magnolia High School (1946) and Mountain State Business College. She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Quilters Group at St. Paul’s, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 50 and Paden City Ambulance Squad.

She enjoyed quilting, traveling, socializing with the girls, painting pictures and an avid reader.

Uncles O.O. and Jesse M. Brown preceded her in death in addition to her parents.

She is survived by brother, John D. “Hoppy” (Barbara) Hopkins; nephew, Eric J. (Therese Vanzo) Hopkins of Morgantown; niece, Juanita (John) VanRyzin and great niece Jordan B. Pfohl of Madison, NJ and several cousins and friends.

Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, where service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 with Pastor Sherri Kirnik officiating. Interment in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville.

Eastern Star service will be held 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
