Obituary for McKenna Marie Connolly

McKenna Marie Connolly, 17, of New Martinsville, WV passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her home.

McKenna was born June 19, 2000 in Wheeling, WV; daughter of “Wade” Clifton (Christy DeMarco) of New Martinsville, WV and Dawn (Mike Grimm) Eveland of Sistersville, WV.

She was a senior at Magnolia High School, there she was repeatedly on the Honor Roll and served as Peer Tutor, a Blue Eagle Cheerleader her freshman and sophomore years and very talented in playing the piano and drawing pictures.

Preceding her in death are her maternal grandfather, James Eveland; paternal grandfather, Clifford Connolly and uncle, Jeff Connolly.

Surviving in addition to her parents, brother, Cody (Morgan Long) Elliott of New Martinsville, WV; sister, Amber (Dylan Boso) Connolly of Portland, OH; maternal grandmother, Kathy Eveland Lohr of New Martinsville, WV; paternal grandmother, Barbara Connolly of Portland, OH; special uncles, Jim Eveland of Green, OH and Tony “Bevo” Connolly of Racine, OH; three step-sisters, Maleigha Tamborello, Alyssa Tamborello and Cora Grimm; niece, Myla Manley; nephew, Waylon Boso; boyfriend, Jason Turpin and several family members and friends.

Friends received 2-7 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 with Mike Shank officiating.

Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
