Obituary for Freda Elizabeth Lou "Loy" Masters

Freda Elizabeth Lou Masters, 79, of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 while at Ohio Valley Medical Center.

Freda was born March 24, 1938 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Earl E. and Mazetta (Noland) Loy.

She was a homemaker, loved working crossword puzzles and playing cards and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Masters, brother, Junior Loy and two sisters, Tootie Loy and Charolotte Loy.

Surviving are two sons, Russell (Dorothy) Masters of Belmont, WV and Anthony Masters of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Ginger (“T.C.”) Masters of Cape Coral, FL; brother, Kenny (Florence) Loy of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Gladys Salisbury and Hazel Loy both of New Martinsville, WV; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received Noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV.

Interment to be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Freda’s name, to Amedisys Hospice Care, 1251 Warwood Ave, Suite A, Wheeling, WV 26003.
