Obituary for John Junior Ingold

John “Junior” Ingold, 90, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 while at Wetzel County Hospital.

Junior was born March 8, 1927 on American Ridge, Wetzel County, WV; son of the late John Edward and Ora (Roberts) Ingold.

He was a retired employee of the former Ormet Corp., a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII, worked for twelve years at the former Wetzel Supply, a fifty year member of American Legion Marne Post No. 28, enjoyed eating lunch at the Senior Citizens Center in New Martinsville; member of the Minnie Church of God and attended First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Ingold.

Surviving are two sons, John “Kevin” (Patty) Ingold and Steve (Jeanne) Ingold both of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Kevin (Teresa) Ingold of New Martinsville, WV, Josh (Shelley) Ingold of Harpers Ferry, WV, Velisha (Chad) Shepherd and Katie Ingold both of New Martinsville, WV; six great grandchildren, Daryan, Jazlyn, Gracie Jo, Lexi, Jacob and Walter; sister, Laura Adkins of Paden City, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ with Rev. Sarah Webb officiating.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.

The Honor Guard will conduct graveside services.
