Helen (Cain) Parish, 87, of New Martinsville, WV died Friday, March 09, 2018 while at the Arbors of Woodsfield, OH.

Helen was born March 7, 1931 in Littleton, WV; daughter of the late Arley and Anna (Villers) Cain.

She was a homemaker, a teller for the former New Martinsville Bank, retired manager of Mobay Credit Union, 1948 graduate of Hundred High School, member of New Martinsville Civic League, Wetzel County Hospital Twig and Moundsville Country Club and Steelton Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband whom she married July 7, 1948 at the North Street Church of Christ, Joseph Clayton Parish; daughter, Linda (Scott) Hill of New Martinsville, WV; sons, Doug (Linda) Parish of Lima, OH and Brian (Roz) of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren, Matt (Kristina) Parish of Nashville, TN, Ashley (Kevin) Heilers of St. Mary’s, OH, Dr. Patrick Hill of New York City, NY, Allison Parish of Chicago, IL and Meredith Parish of Dublin, OH; great-grandchildren, Sam, Lydia and Isaac Heilers and Marsden Parish; brother, Paul (Donna Jo) Cain of Proctor, WV; sister, Laura Lee Aberegg of Hundred, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018 with Ed Melott officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.

The family would like to thank Journey Hospice, Stonerise Hospice and the Arbors of Woodsfield for the wonderful care they gave to Helen.
