Richard Stanley Doak, 63, of Parkersburg, formerly of Paden City, WV passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Richard was born May 26, 1954 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late Lester C. and Melba G. (Bucher) Doak.

While Richard lived his life with a variety of special needs, he was surrounded by his family, friends and caretakers who provided him with special love and care. He is now whole and living with his Heavenly Father.

Richard is survived by his sisters, Jana Doak Turner and her husband Mike of Paden City, WV, Cathie Doak Zuspan and her husband, Larry of Winfield, WV and Susan Doak Pettitt and her husband, Jeff of Spring Hope, NC and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Richard’s name, to Special Olympics West Virginia, 3055 Mount Vernon Road, Hurricane, WV 25526.
