Hazel Virginia Barker, 89, of Sardis, OH died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at The Arbors in Woodsfield, OH.

Hazel was born April 12, 1929 in Sardis, OH; daughter of the late Homer and Ruth (Lallathin) Jones.

She was a homemaker, loved cooking (famous for her noodles) and quilting, member of the Sardis Community Club and a Christian by Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Barker; two infant brothers and sister, Gladys Lytton.

Surviving are two sons, Robert L. (Mary) Barker and James L. (Pamela) Barker both of Sardis, OH; sister, Dorothy (Glen) Bayes of Sardis, OH; three grandchildren, Sabrina (Dan) Lollathin, Gwenna (Joe) Dunson and Nathan (Lorraine) Barker; five great grandchildren, Riley Lollathin, Elyse Barker, Brody Lollathin, Cullan Dunson and Paxton Dunson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Hazel’s request services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Burial in West Union Cemetery in Sardis, OH.
