Nancy Lee Fouchs, 80, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 while at Genesis New Martinsville.

She was a member of Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church. Nancy was a homemaker, and loved gardening, sewing, drawing and painting. She attended Paden City High School until 1956 and returned to finish her education and graduate in 1976.

Nancy was born December 28, 1937 in New Martinsville, WV; the daughter of the late Okey and Edna Goddard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Walter Ray Fouchs and a grandson, Gabriel Ian Lynch.

Surviving are two sons, Donald (Karen) Fouchs of New Martinsville and Ray (Kathy) Fouchs of Paden City; two daughters, Joanie Spencer of New Martinsville and Barbara (Michael) Lynch of Friendly; brothers, Bill (Carolyn) Goddard of New Martinsville, Dean (Karen) Goddard of Paden City and Jim (Phyllis) Goddard of New Martinsville; sister, Jane Tate of Sistersville; sister-in-law, Emma Fuchs of Paden City; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 with Dale Dudgeon officiating. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Nancy’s name, to Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church, 1596 Paden Fork Rd, New Martinsville, WV 26159.
