Obituary for Sue Williams (Stewart)
“Sue” Williams, 71, of New Martinsville, WV died Friday, February 8, 2019 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Sue was born April 23, 1947 in Reader, WV; daughter of the late Randial and Ruby (Snyder) Stewart.
She was a homemaker, bar tender for New Martinsville Moose Lodge; she loved her flower gardens, and she was a member of American Legion Sistersville Post 67, VFW Sistersville Post 6327 and New Martinsville Moose Lodge No. 931.
Surviving are her husband of thirty-one years, Dennis Smethers; two sons, Robert “Bob” (Jamie) Williams, III of Monroe, GA and Jason Williams of Fish Creek, WV; two daughters, Tammy (Alf Riggs) Williams of Tyler County, WV and Stephanie (Jeremy) Johnson of New Martinsville, WV; four brothers, Dale Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, Oran Jackson of New Martinsville, WV, Jim Jackson and Jess Jackson of Porters Falls, WV; one sister, Carol Ingold of Wheeling, WV; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 1 until of time service at 4 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Interment to be held at the convenience of the family.
