Wm David Rogers, 63, of New Martinsville, WV went to meet his Savior on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Dave was born March 16, 1955 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late William H. and Evelyn Susan (Kline) Rogers.
He was a retired Water and Sewer Superintendent for the City of New Martinsville, a veteran serving in the United States Air Force and Army Reserves, former member of the New Martinsville Fire Department and New Martinsville Ambulance Service where he served as a driver, volunteer for the Wetzel County Committee on Aging and was a member of the Pine Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Wilbert and Frances Buchner.
Surviving are his wife of forty-four years, Jean Rogers; son Brian (Miranda) Rogers of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Stephen (Peggy) Rogers of Wheeling, WV; two nieces, Stephanie (Jason) Rice and Sarah Rogers; uncle Emmerson Hall of Sardis, OH and several cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville; where services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 with Tim Haught officiating. Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery.
