Obituary for Bula Faye Yost (Rush)
Bula Faye Yost, 88, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Westwood Place in Woodsfield, OH.
Bula was born May 4, 1930 in Silver Hill, WV; daughter of the late Curtis and Sadie (Chambers) Rush.
She was a homemaker, former clerk at the Sear catalog store and later retired as a cook from New Martinsville School, graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 1949, loved gardening and quilting and member of the First Church of God in New Martinsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Yost; two sisters, Jewell Poe and Lucille Crane; two brothers, Melvin Rush and Glenn Rush and a nephew, Jim Gilbert.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna (Larry) Weekley of New Martinsville, WV; sister, Sharon (Joe) Keller of Henderson, NV; brother, Delbert (Betty Ruth) Rush of Sistersville, WV; sister-in-law, Doretta Rush of New Martinsville, WV; two grandchildren, Carisa (Adam) Smith and Shane (Michele) Smith; five great grandchildren, Riley, Reece, Brandon, Dominick and Cameron and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2019 with Pastor Dan Betts officiating. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville.
